Evolution

This project serves as a reminder that we are all just furless apes with amazing cognitive capacities whose tails fell off.

Using hydroflouric acid, I etched a frosted evolutionary progression into 25 pieces of glass; starting with the face of a chimpanzee, they slowly morph piece by piece until it becomes my face.  Because of the subtlety in glass etches and the length of the installation, this work is meant to be experienced in person... the internet just can't do it justice.
