False Idols

     For my final assignment in abstract painting I had to create a small sculpture and paint it in an imagined landscape.  My sculpture was a cross made out of a broken guitar; crucified on it was a person with a barcode face and a bieber hair cut.  The painting is a surreal seascape with a small island, on it is this guitar cross with a faceless dude rocking a bieber hair cut, and surrounding him is warped images of pop culture floating in space.

Bob Marley

It's been a work in progress for over two years now, but my Bob Marley oil portrait is finally finished.  I started it during the York strike in my first year, and took my sweet time working on it, but am happy to say its signed and everything.

This is my first Bob Ross painting starting from a black canvas, it was interesting, and I feel like it's time to move onto one of his seascapes.

Giraffes for Babies

Every child deserves the opportunity for giraffes to be their favourite animal. So for my good friend's beautiful daughter Blake I painted a giraffe for her.

I also created a giraffe painting about a year ago for another friend's beautiful daughter Brianna.
